Templates Store, source citations, and audio/video transcription

This release makes it faster to get started and easier to trust the results. You can install ready-made workflows from a new Templates Store. Agents cite the documents behind their answers, recordings can be transcribed, and scanned documents are properly read. You can also manage API keys and secrets securely from the interface.

The Templates Store is a catalog of prebuilt MagOneAI workflows for common business tasks. Browse it, pick a template and install it straight into one of your projects. You can then adjust it to your needs.

Why it matters: You start from a working example instead of building every workflow from scratch.

Source citations

When an agent answers using a knowledge base, a collection of your documents, its answer now includes citations pointing to the sources it used.

Why it matters: You can check where an answer came from, which builds trust and makes reviews faster.

Audio and video transcription

Upload an audio or video file, such as a recorded meeting or a customer call, and MagOneAI transcribes the speech to text and passes it into your workflow.

Scanned documents are read properly

Scanned and image-heavy documents are now read by a vision-capable AI model, so agents get the real content instead of an empty page.

Secrets and key management

Manage your project's and organization's API keys and secrets, such as passwords for connected systems, directly in the interface. They're stored in a secure vault and are never shown in plain text.

Why it matters: No more handling sensitive keys by hand or sharing them over chat or email.

More new features

• Conditions per Parallel branch. A Parallel node runs several branches at the same time. Each branch can now have its own condition, so it only runs when that condition is met. See Parallel node.
• Use earlier results in node settings. Reference the output of earlier steps and workflow variables directly in a node's settings, with mistakes caught immediately.
• A new email option. Azure Communication Services can now send email from workflows, alongside Outlook and Gmail.
• A fallback answer for agents. Set a default output an agent returns when it can't produce anything useful, instead of returning nothing.
• Limits on prompt size. Admins can cap how large an agent's instructions and context may get.
• Leaner, faster knowledge bases. Knowledge base search data is now compressed, so it takes less space and searches faster.
• A history of workflow changes. Changes to a workflow are recorded, so you can see what changed and when.
• Detailed run traces. A richer step-by-step view helps you understand and debug a run. See Execution artifacts and the Debugger.
• Chat keeps generated files. Files an agent creates in a chat stay in the conversation history so you can find them later.
• Faster code steps. Code steps and code tools start quickly because sandbox capacity is kept ready in advance.
• Version history API (preview). An early API for reading a workflow's version history from your own systems.

Improvements

• More robust tool connections. How MagOneAI registers tool servers, finds their credentials and protects their sign-in settings has been reworked.
• Back where you started. After you connect an account to a tool, you return to the page you started from.
• More reliable single sign-on, with a simpler login flow.
• Faster uploads for large knowledge bases, and document content stays in the right order.
• Large files upload more efficiently, streamed in parts instead of all at once.
• Choose your storage region. Self-hosted deployments can choose which cloud storage region to use.
• Long run histories are easier to browse, with paging and search fixed for workflows with many runs.
• Times in your timezone. Super Agent capabilities now use your timezone.

Bug fixes

• A broken reference to a value now stops the step with an error, instead of passing the raw placeholder along.
• Invitations are more secure and handle invalid or duplicate cases cleanly.
• Several Super Agent issues were fixed, including output being overwritten, settings toggles and per-role availability.
• Parallel steps handle naming, missing inputs and branches running at the same time correctly.
• File generation no longer offers unsupported legacy formats (.doc and .xls), and download links work.
• Email verification works more reliably.
• The run timeline shows automatic knowledge base searches correctly.
• Drop-down menus behave correctly throughout the builder.
• Save buttons on the Human Task and START nodes only light up when something has changed.
• A file attached in chat is tied to the message it was sent with.
• What the interface accepts now matches what the server accepts.

Security

• DocuSign is fully disabled. It's removed from tools and the connection screen, and blocked if a run tries to use it.
• A single sign-on weakness was closed, which could have let MagOneAI be tricked into making requests to internal systems.
• Database errors no longer reveal internal details.
• Signing out ends your session everywhere.
• A timing issue when setting a password was fixed.
• Secrets can only be created by members of the project.
